Paul Scurrah will bring his extensive travel and tourism experience to help guide the B2B travel brand.
Web Travel Group has introduced two new members of its Board of Directors, with former Virgin Australia CEO Paul Scurrah and business leader Melanie Wilson set to provide their experience to the company.
Scurrah preceded Jayne Hrdlicka as Virgin Australia boss and guided the carrier through the early days of the pandemic before leaving the business. He departed his most recent role as CEO of Pacific National at the end of last year.
At a Board level, Scurrah has previously helped to guide the Australian Tourism Data Warehouse as Chairman.
Wilson is a highly experienced Board-level Director, currently serving as a Non-Executive Director at JB Hi-Fi, Oroton Group and previously with iSelect.
The two new additions come as Web Travel Group Non-Executive Director Brad Holman retires as a Director of the business.
Holman’s position as Chair of Web Travel Group’s Remuneration and Nomination Committee will be assumed by Wilson from 30 September.
