Phillipa Harrison to head up tourism for UAE emirate.
The Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority in the UAE has been revealed as the body that poached Phillipa Harrison from Tourism Australia.
She will build on the emirate’s ambitious growth targets, including the goal of attracting over 3.5 million tourists annually by 2030.
Harrison replaces Raki Phillips in the position, who stepped down in October last year to join Accor as Regional President.
“I am honored to join at such an exciting time,” Harrison said.
“Ras Al Khaimah has already established itself as an international success story, and I look forward to unlocking even more growth in the years ahead.”
