Everyone loves a TV wedding and with the romantic Hawaiian wedding of Home and Away characters Indi and Romeo going to air last week on popular soapie Home and Away, there is no better time to announce that Hawai’i Tourism has released a new Romantic Celebrations Guide!
Having witnessed a significant increase in consumer enquiries relating to weddings and honeymoons in Hawai‘i, Hawai’i Tourism Oceania decided it was time to create a new publication “Romantic Celebrations Hawai‘i”. The guide focuses primarily on weddings and honeymoons, with a secondary focus on couple holidays, anniversaries and vow renewals, and offers one central resource containing the important information required when planning a romantic escape to Hawai‘i.
Hawai‘i is without doubt one of the world’s most romantic destinations. A paradise of tropical forests, spectacular beaches and an active volcano, it is a destination enriched with the spirit of Aloha and special local traditions, offering an array of relaxing pampering services, exceptional cuisine and diverse venues that are perfect for a romantic celebration.
Helen Williams Country Manager from Hawai’i Tourism Oceania said ” Romance is a key lifestyle segment that is actively targeted by HTO in the Australian market. Romance travellers seek a memorable or even once-in-a-lifetime travel experience and Hawai’i can definitely offer this. They tend to develop a lifelong affinity with the place where their special event takes place, often returning a number of times for anniversaries or other events with their families in the years ahead”.
The guide is an excellent selling tool and reference guide for consultants, especially those specialising in romance in Australia. Information in the guide includes, an overview of the islands, marriage requirements, types of ceremonies available, FAQ’s , Hawai’i festivals and events, contacts for a romantic escape as well as information on celebrating anniversaries, vow renewals and couple holidays.
The guide can be downloaded on discoverhawaii.com.au or copies can be obtained by contacting the HTO office in Sydney on 9286 8951 or info@hawaiitourism.com.au
