BEYOND TRAVEL EXPANDS RUSSIA
NEW soft adventure options in Russia and variations to the trans-Siberian railway experience are highlights of the new Russia & Beyond brochure released for 2012 by Eastern Europe experts Beyond Travel.
Marketing manager Bryce Crampton said that although there was an already wide choice of rail journeys across Russia he was now able to offer further attractions in the form of private tours in the Irkutsk and Lake Baikal region.
These include an Irkutsk city tour, a full-day visit to the world’s deepest freshwater lake, Lake Baikal and a Circumbaikal railroad tour.
Mr Crampton added that cruise passengers visiting St Petersburg will appreciate new regulations which permit a visit for up to three days without a visa if the visit is pre-booked before departing Australia.
In response to customer demand Beyond Travel is also expanding its choice of tailor-made rail journeys and tailor-made tours of Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan and Georgia.
These itineraries provide flexibility in the cities you visit and can provide pre-booked hotels, day excursions and transfers maximising free time to explore at your own pace.
The company will continue to operate its popular Beyond Travel Credits which offer up to $800 per couple in travel credit which can be applied to any additional service in Beyond Travel’s brochure if you book your initial tour before April 30.
The company also continues to offer the broadest choice of exclusive special journeys – escorted small group tours which have fully organised programs but a balanced mix of guided- and free-time.
