If you happen to be hiring a Europcar rental car during March and April, you’ll no doubt knock your head on the distinctive green hanger which usually hangs from the rear-view mirror. For two months only, Accor has struck a gigantic deal with car rental partner, Europcar to turn 65,000 green hangers black across Australia and New Zealand to promote the musical of the year – KING KONG and Accor’s sponsorship of the production. In an exclusive Melbourne only season, this epic musical event will see a six-metre tall gorilla take to the stage with more than 40 actors, singers, dancers, puppeteers and circus performers. KING KONG opens at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre on 15 June. Accor and Sofitel have STAY & SEE packages available through showbiz.com.au/king-kong.
