Agents from across Australia were treated to an 8-day all-American adventure this month in celebration of Topdeck’s new North America program.
Over 40 agents, including some from New Zealand, London, Zurich and Mexico City, joined in Topdeck’s first US famil which was run in partnership with Visit California.
Following the California Chilling itinerary departing Los Angeles, the group let their hair down on a party bus tour of Las Vegas, visited Death Valley and Yosemite National Park, walked the Golden Gate Bridge and relaxed on a sunset sail around Alcatraz.
Agents also soaked up the sunshine of the California Coast, visiting the Monterey Bay Aquarium, the famous Madonna Inn in San Luis Obispo and charming Santa Barbara before making their way back to LA.
“They had the time of their lives and we know our passengers will experience the same when our North America program kicks off next week,” Topdeck director of sales Asia Pacific Ben Ittensohn said.
“We’re extremely excited about breaking in to this market, with impressive sales recorded out of Australasia.”
Visit California Australia & New Zealand account director Tristan Freedman said Visit California was thrilled to be the major partner for Topdeck’s first US famil.
“Topdeck’s itineraries cover a broad area of the gorgeous Californian state, so it was a natural fit for us to step on board the first ever Topdeck North America trip,” he said.
Topdeck’s inaugural North American itinerary departs 31 March.
Passengers on the 7-day California Calling trip from Los Angeles to San Francisco will take in the best of western USA, including the Grand Canyon, Las Vegas, Death Valley, Yosemite National Park and more. |
