Adventure World and LAN Airlines joined forces recently to showcase Chile to a group of 10 Australian travel agents over 11 days.
The group navigated their way through the bustling city of Santiago de Chile, Santa Cruz, Punta Arenas and Puerto Natales. The group took in some of the country’s famous sights including Colchagua Wine Valley, Torres del Paine National Park and Milodon Cave, with a three day epic journey to the Southern Ice Field located in the Chilean Patagonia, south of Chile. The enormous ice extension is the cradle to the biggest and most spectacular glaciers of the southern hemisphere, like the Amalia Glacier as well as fjords like the Calvo Fjord, with its floe filled waters of incredible colours and imposing millennial glaciers.
