BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday has taken out the 2012 Tourism Whitsunday Award in their category for the 17th year in a row. Owners of the resort, the McKinnon family, were thrilled to accept another award for their popular family holiday resort in Airlie Beach.
The resort is a multi-award tourism winner and the family hope to repeat their win in the Queensland Tourism awards in November this year. Naomi McKinnon, co-owner of the BIG4 Adventure Whitsunday resort said, “this local award means a lot to our whole team as it helps to promote the Whitsundays and Airlie Beach and helps to put the spotlight on the quality family resorts that are based on the mainland.” Naomi went on to say, “we put a lot of time and effort into our award submission as we believe the process is an excellent way to review our business practices and try to improve every year. We have grown and developed over the years and we are so proud of the wonderful product we have. We know our guests love to come back to visit us every year and we continue to try to delight on every level. We would like to thank our whole service team who help us to deliver an exceptional experience every day of the year.” The resort were also finalists in the Customer Service category of the Tourism Whitsunday awards. |
