BENCH ADDS TO NEW BROCHURE
RENEWED interest in Zimbabwe has prompted safari specialist Bench International to add new itineraries to that destination, along with refinements to product in South Africa, Botswana, Kenya and Tanzania in the 2012 brochure the company has just released.
Product manager Fiona Orton says the spectacular increases in numbers going to Victoria Falls had prompted her to add new programs in other parts of Zimbabwe.
They include lodges in Hwange National Park, new camps and a canoeing adventure at remote Mana Pools and a new 12-day Zimbabwe Explorer which takes in the Falls, Hwange, Lake Kariba, Matsudona National Park and Mana Pools.
Next door in South Africa new options include Franschhoek Villas in the Cape Winelands, apartments in Cape Town and a Kruger Park and Zululand safari.
In Botswana, there’s a new Trans-Kalahari adventure, three days cruising the Chobe River and the rustic five-star Ngoma Safari Lodge, whilst a 10-day Diverse Namibia package and a 16-day Namibia Experience have been added to the program in that country.
In east Africa, Bench has added the Elewana air safari in Tanzania to complement the Kenya by Air safari it has been operating with its own aircraft for the last couple of years.
Market demand has also led the company to add a third gorilla trekking itinerary with the inclusions of a package involving the Sanctuary Gorilla Forest Camp, the only concession within the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a World Heritage site
