Latin America and Antarctica Specialist, Chimu Adventures today released its new 114 page brochure showcasing a range of itineraries, properties and vessels spanning from Cuba to the Antarctic Circle.
The new brochure is predicted to be become every Travel Agent’s go to for Latin America and Antarctica as it’s filled with all the information they’ll need to plan a dream holiday for their clients.
The brochure itself is now available through Tifs and is currently being distributed to Travel Agents across the country.
Chimu Adventures specialises in personalised journeys, offering the client the flexibility of styling the itinerary to suit their needs. Whether joining shared excursions or going completely solo, Chimu works with clients to fit their budget and taste.
Mr Chad Carey, Co-Director of Chimu Adventures, said: “This boutique style of travel is rapidly increasing in popularity. Personalising the itinerary and joining shared excursions to visit destination highlights is very popular as it gives the clients personal space as well as the opportunity to meet fellow travellers along the way.
“Opening our own operations in Latin America has helped us facilitate this touring model and keep prices competitive, whilst managing quality control at a superior level. Travellers today need to know they are in safe hands and expect things to run smoothly, so being able to control the booking from consultation to execution allows us to deliver what today’s clients’ need.” said Carey.
On news of the collapse of Kumuka Worldwide, Greg Carter, Co-Director said: “We were saddened this week to hear the news of the recent collapse of Kumuka Worldwide. The company played a big part in raising awareness of the benefits of adventure travel and their legacy will live on in the Australian market. Our thoughts are with the staff and travellers affected by this and we are on
standby to help any clients or travel agents in need of finding a suitable Latin America or Antarctic travel alternative.
“We were, however, somewhat surprised to see the news, as we continue to see solid growth in our sector. The strong Australian dollar and ever increasing popularity of Latin America and Antarctica as a destination has resulted in our sales rising by over 50% over the last financial year.”
To date, Chimu’s growth has been largely organic and a result of realistic prices, solid knowledge, exceptional sales skills and a bountiful percentage of referrals. What began as a two person operation in 2004 is now a fast growing business. The travel company currently carries 3,000 passengers to Latin America and Antarctica and has offices in Sydney, Sunshine Coast, London, Lima, Cusco and Buenos Aires.
