China Southern Airlines’ official launch of its Canton Route to the UK and Europe yesterday brought good fortune to Flight Centre Event Coordinator NSW/ACT Bec Cushing who was the lucky winner of a return business class flight to London on the airline’s new route.
Trade and media attendees at the Sydney launch each received a special fortune cookie to enter the lucky prize draw and it was Ms Cushing’s cookie that contained the winning number and the very accurate reading that she will Fly China Southern’s Canton Route to the UK and Europe. The airline celebrated its first direct flights to London and the official launch of the Canton Route in true Cantonese-style with a Yum Cha lunch in Sydney yesterday.
