Over 150 travel agents in Adelaide and Melbourne have experienced the Kingdom of Unexpected Treasurers during the Discover Brunei Road Show, which will conclude in Canberra this evening.
Brunei Tourism officials and tourism operators have been on hand to provide travel agents with valuable information they need to sell Brunei as an attractive holiday destination in South East Asia.
Tourism operators from Brunei included Royal Brunei Airlines, The Empire Hotel Country Club, MegaoBorneo Tour Planner, Sunshine Borneo Tours, Ulu-Ulu Resort, BonAsia Holidays and the Orchid Garden Hotel.
The Melbourne function last night included a visit from a Brunei dance group, showcasing traditional Bruneian dancing, music and costumes to the participating travel agents.

Australian Account Manager for Brunei Tourism, Mr Ross Tutin, said the road show is an important marketing tool to introduce the travel trade the tourism product Brunei has to offer. “We have had great response to our road show, which shows a high level of interest on finding out about Brunei” says Mr Tutin.
