When TTNQ teamed up with Quickbeds.com and offered the Flight Centre Group’s retail agents the opportunity to take part in the “Tropical North Queensland Expert” program, almost 400 responded. As well as an upgrade in product knowledge and selling skills the program offered the chance to win a place on a famil to Cairns and Tropical North Queensland.
The program is an incentive linked to the current TNQ Quickbeds campaign.
Tourism Tropical North Queensland (TTNQ) gave its accommodation and touring operator members the opportunity to create Adventure holiday packages exclusively for the Quickbeds campaign to celebrate the regional brand “Adventurous by nature”.
Rob Giason, Chief Executive Officer of TTNQ said the TNQ Quickbeds campaign had been an outstanding success for the region increasing room nights sold through Quickbeds by 40% during March and April, a significant increase over last year’s shoulder season. “We are now working with industry to put together an Adventurous itinerary for the Flight Centre agents who’ll be here on the famil in June” he said.
