Eight of Germany’s most influential Product Managers, for the country’s top wholesalers, are experiencing the very best of Fraser Island over the next few days and will take their experiences back home to sell to German travellers. Mother Nature has come to the party and supplied gorgeous sunshine today, and local operators including Kingfisher Bay Resort, Fraser Explorer Tours, Air Fraser Island and Fraser Experience Tours are pulling out all stops to showcase our own World Heritage-listed patch of paradise on the European stage.
The group are in Queensland as part of a Great Sunshine Way famil, which has seen them spend time at Caloundra, Mooloolaba, Noosa and at Australia Zoo. The would-be adventurers landed on Fraser Island’s 75-Mile Beach yesterday and and will visit the top spots including an extended stop at gorgeous Lake McKenzie and time in the historical heart of the island – Central Station. Then it’s off to Lady Elliot Island.
Kingfisher Bay Resort’s Director of Sales and Marketing, Kerry Brough, said Germany was a key source market for the Fraser Coast region.
