Globus has announced price cuts averaging 16 per cent across its entire North American tour program for 2012, capitalising on the powerful Aussie dollar to offer its best-value tour season in years.
With more than 40 different itineraries across the USA and Canada on sale from today, Globus is also offering hundreds of dollars off already reduced prices with a new range of discounts for early bookings, repeat travellers and small groups.
Tours in the 2012 program include the popular 13-day Eastern US & Canada Discovery, from Boston to New York, priced from $2639* per person twin share, a reduction of $480 on 2011 prices.
Other highlights include the 12-day Spirit of the Rockies featuring the Rocky Mountaineer through Canada’s west, priced from $4239* (reduced by $660), and the 9-day California Classics from San Francisco to Los Angeles, priced from $2009* (reduced by $310).
New additional savings available with the Globus 2012 USA & Canada program include:
- Early booking discounts – Save 10 per cent on tours booked 12 months or more ahead.
- Repeat traveller discounts – Past Globus travellers who join the Journeys Club can save 5 per cent on their next Globus tour.
- Small group savings – Save 5 per cent on bookings for 5-7 people, in addition to existing savings available for groups of eight or more.
Other savings include discounts on second tours, young traveller discounts and triple room reductions.
The Globus 2012 USA & Canada brochure features the big cities, spectacular landscapes and unforgettable events across North America, as well as tours in Hawaii and Latin America.
Itineraries range from four to 16 days and include special tours timed with events like the Calgary Stampede and the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival, or seasonal spectacles like the polar bears of northern Canada and the winter wonderland of Yellowstone National Park. New for 2012 is the 14-day Spirit of South America itinerary, visiting Rio de Janeiro, Iguassu Falls, Buenos Aires, Machu Picchu and the Amazon.
The new brochure includes a preview of the 2012 Monograms season, a collection of city-stays and independent itineraries offering the freedom of travelling outside a group but with logistics, excursions, accommodation and attractions pre-arranged, on sale from October.
