Gold Coast “Famous for fun” Product Workshop and Mega Famil

Twenty-four travel agents from across Australia converged on the Gold Coast last week as part of Tourism Queensland and Gold Coast Tourism’s first national product workshop and mega-famil. The event, run in partnership with Virgin Australia, took place from November 1-4 and gave travel agents from Queensland’s key interstate markets the chance to meet with more than 20 local tourism operators and experience a range of Gold Coast products and tours first-hand. The agents discovered what’s new at the Gold Coast’s iconic theme parks, saw spectacular views from the SkyPoint Observation Deck, got a taste for the Gold Coast hinterland on a guided 4WD tour and saw a number of new accommodation offerings in the region.
