In conjunction with Air AsiaX and Interpid Tours, HRA hosted a fantastic nine night famil trip to two of HRA’s properties.
Flying ex Melbourne courtesy of Air AsiaX via KL and onto Delhi (Air AsiaX is keen to promote these onward legs).
The Invitation said join us on a most quirky journey and it proved to be just that. We wanted the famil to be different, to experience an extraordinary combination of destinations, properties and activities. Playing golf in India, sleeping in a sea-villa over the Straits of Malacca, see the Taj Mahal and becoming an Intrepid Traveller in Old Delhi then shop the Malaysian MegaSales Carnival in KL, it had everything.
In Delhi we stayed at the 5-star luxury resort hotel, Jaypee Greens Golf & Spa Resort which opened in July last year. The facilities include the first Six Senses Spa in India and a Greg Norman-designed 18 hole golf course.
Intrepid arranged a Travel’s Urban Adventure. A walking tour to experience the chaos and clamour of India’s capital city. Ancient temples, labyrinthine laneways, overwhelming scents and extraordinary sights, a challenging day of travel topped off with a home-cooked Indian dinner in Old Delhi. Finally, what trip to India would be complete without a trip to the astonishing Taj Mahal…wow !
We then departed India heading back to Kuala Lumpur. Staying at another HRA property being the stunning Golden Palm Tree. This is an eco-friendly over-water sea villa hotel jutting out almost a kilometre from the Sepang coastline into the Straits of Malacca, close to KL’s international airport and 75mins from the city. |
