A selection of our leading corporate agents were invited to attend this “European Odyssey” which was organised by Korean Air, ACCOR Hotels and Rail Plus in collaboration with Rail Europe.
The agents were able to sample Korean Air Prestige (Business Class) on our Boeing 747-400 aircraft from Sydney to Seoul and on to London-Heathrow. While in London, they were able to pay a visit to London-Gatwick airport and had an opportunity to tour the land and airside facilities escorted by Mr. Guy STEPHENSON, Chief Commercial Officer – Gatwick Airport. All in preparation for Korean Air’s new service to LGW which starts on 28 April 2012. From the UK, it was on to the continent via Eurostar Business Premier and then on to Brussels in Comfort 1 Class via Thalys. From Brussels, the group made its way to Frankfurt in the ICE high-speed train and a day later boarded our state-of-the-art Airbus A380 which is now serving Frankfurt daily from Seoul. |
