Experiencing London and Paris just like a client would, was the highlight for TravelManagers’ personal travel manager Kerrin Poupos, representative for Warragul in Victoria who recently participated on a CT Partners Radius Corporate Travel European educational hosted by Qantas Airways and Qantas Holidays.
“Being able to share my extensive personal travel experience and product knowledge with my customers is an absolute priority for me. For this reason I was thrilled to be the TravelManagers’ representative on the CT Partners Radius educational, the key focus being to experience London and Paris exactly as our clients would. With most educationals, everything is pre-arranged from transport, hotels and sightseeing allowing little time to really experience the destinations as you would if you were travelling independently.
“The CT Partners educational was completely different to this; we made our own way around the cities using the various public transport services, discovered and experienced what there was to do in each location and the very best places to stay. There were so many highlights, however enjoying an afternoon in the sun sampling French wine and local cheeses on the Pont des Arts as artists created their masterpieces was truly memorable and something I will recommend my customers do when they visit Paris,” says Poupos.
CT Partners Radius, with a combined turnover approaching a billion dollars is a dynamic force in the Australian corporate travel sector. Established in early 2004, the group is made up of 16 of the larger independent corporate travel management companies including TravelManagers Australia.
“TravelManagers, through our association with CT Partners Radius offer the very best in corporate travel service. As the only true national mobile travel consultant host agency with 390 personal travel managers and six local state based supporting business partnership managers throughout Australia, TravelManagers prides itself on providing exceptional and personal customer service which comes from firsthand knowledge and experience. This is why educationals such as the CT Partners European one are so important and why TravelManagers’ support them completely,” says Michael Gazal TravelManagers’ General Manager.
Poupos says making the move to TravelManagers has given her the freedom to go above and beyond for her clients.
“The support I receive from my local business partnership manager, access to support from the National Partnership Office combined with TravelManagers’ collective buying power and increasing sales volumes gives me peace of mind that my customers will receive competitive pricing which allows me to focus on sharing my first hand knowledge and travel tips that I know will make their travel the absolute best it can be.”
