More than 80 senior industry managers gathered at Hotel Majestic, Kuala Lumpur last Friday 06 September 2013, in light of the Malaysia Airlines ANZ Top Agents Awards Gala Event 2012. The event was hailed as a great success, with the support of key partners; Tourism Malaysia and YTL Hotels. Prior to the awards ceremony, attendees were invited for pre-touring to Kota Kinabalu, Kuala Terengganu, Pangkor Laut Island, Langkawi and Penang.
The Awards Ceremony was attended by Malaysia Airlines CEO – Mr Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, Director of Commercial – Dr Hugh Dunleavy, Head of Sales & Distribution – Mr Duncan Bureau, Senior Vice President of Marketing & Products – Mr Dean Dacko and Regional Senior Vice President, Australia New Zealand SWP – Mr Lee Poh Kait, held in honor of Malaysia Airlines top 65 agents from the Australia and New Zealand region. The category awards include National and State awards for Top Performing Retail Agent, Best Supporting Retail agent, Corporate Agent, Online Travel Agent, VFR Agent and Wholesaler.
