Formerly held annually as the Virtuoso Travel Mart, the new look event has this yearbeen rebranded Virtuoso Travel Week, part of a Virtuoso ‘Collaborative Commerce™’ strategy designed to bring travel advisors and suppliers together to better integrate the consumer into the overall travel planning process.
Speakers at the by-invitation-only event included Virtuoso CEO, Matthew Upchurch, film director Francis Ford Coppola and high profile motivational speaker, author and the creator of ‘Fascinate’, Sally Hogshead.
The speaker lineup alsoincluded the son in law of the King of Bhutan, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck who spoke to the conference on his pet subject, the measurement of GNH (Gross National Happiness) as opposed to GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and its importance in life, something Roy Merricks said is an integral component of the overall MTA philosophy. |
