Inspiring Journeys, the exciting new experiential touring brand to make its debut in the Australian market, has been officially launched today by Northern Territory Tourism Minister, Hon Malarndirri Barbara Anne McCarthy MLA, marking the launch with a ribbon cutting ceremony at Darwin Parliament House.
Inspiring Journeys’ 4WD vehicle ‘Banjo’, which has been named after Australia’s most loved poet and ballad writer, Banjo Patterson, was the vehicle of honour at the ceremony, with the Minister ‘cutting the ribbon’ on the 4WD to commemorate the brand’s arrival in the Northern Territory.
Tammy Marshall, Managing Director, Inspiring Journeys said, “This is an exciting milestone for Australian domestic travel. We set out with a plan 18 months ago to provide travellers with a new and different way to explore their own country. Today we are excited to officially unveil our 4WD’s, which have been affectionately named after iconic Australians and announce their presence on the roads.
“Inspiring Journeys is giving agents a stimulating new selling tool for domestic travel. So many Australians are keen to get a taste of the ‘real’ Australia and we can share this with them. Our product is new and aspirational and offers a fantastic way to discover Australia. We have extras, quality inclusions and exclusives which other operators can’t match.
“Since launching the brand in March, we have had an extremely positive response from agents. We see the trade as absolutely integral partners in selling this brand and we’re committed to working with the industry to ensure they receive the relevant training and support to sell our product”.
The stunning colours of Australia are vividly illustrated in the portfolio of 15 Inspiring Journeys on offer, from the iconic ochre of the rugged beauty of Western Australia and the Northern Territory, to the serenity of the blue waters of South Australia; and the unspoilt beauty and sandy coastlines of Tasmania and Queensland. Inspiring Journeys range from three to 20 days in length, with each journey including a maximum of 16-20 travellers.
The highest level of personal service can be expected from the Journey Leaders and Navigators, and a vast array of different areas and experiences can be incorporated into the journeys, given the maximum group size will be limited to 20 like-minded travellers. Flexibility and freedom are paramount. |
