“We’ll probably never know what happened to the original Golden Ticket that was inserted into one of the Reserve brochures mailed to 4,000 Leisure Travel Agents to launch the range”, said Mat Lewis, Head of Sales at Peregrine. As the Golden Ticket had not been claimed by March 31, a second chance draw was held with over 1,300 agents who had registered on the Reserve website. “Agents were extremely excited about the prospect of winning an all inclusive luxury tour and as they received their Reserve brochures have become just as excited about the range and selling our tours” says Lewis. “Enquiry has exceeded all expectation and to date the Morocco tour is the top seller.” When contacted by Liz Young, Peregrine Industry Sales Manager, Claire said “I cannot believe it. The trip looks amazing. I was feeling so lucky I bought a Lotto ticket and then won $18 on Saturday. I am so looking forward to going to Morocco and to be able to take my husband.” The Golden ticket was presented to Claire (pictured centre) by Liz Young from Peregrine (right) with Deb Duncan, General Manager Travel Counsellors at their Headquarters in Melbourne. The lucky winners of all the other prizes have also been contacted.
