Queensland agents stop over in Guangzhou on China Southern famil
June 7, 2013
A group of Queensland agents recently visited the bustling southern Chinese city of Guangzhou as part of a famil hosted by China Southern Airlines, Creative Holidays and Air Tickets.
The group is pictured here at Shamian Island.
Seen here posing amongst some of Shamian Island’s famed bronze statues, the group travelled to China’s third largest city to experience Guangzhou as a stopover destination.
Australians will soon be able to transit through Guangzhou without a visa for up to 72 hours, bringing the city in line with Beijing and Shanghai.
During their Guangzhou stopover, agents also shopped along the busy pedestrian precinct Beijing Rd and enjoyed an evening cruise on the Pearl River.
