Wednesday 17th October marked the 30th birthday of Reho Travel. Since its’ inception in 1982
Reho has transformed itself into a travel management company that prides itself on its quality, flexibility and
creativity.
Reho’s managing director Karsten Horne decided to celebrate this milestone in style by inviting Reho’s VIP clients
and suppliers to a party called ’Where were you in ’82?”
The party was held in Reho’s new office space at 484 St Kilda Road and its’ staff were dressed as famous
characters from 1982, in addition, guests were encouraged to dress in their best ‘80’s garb to nab the best
dressed prize – two tickets to Bali and 5 nights’ accommodation.
“We were overwhelmed with the generosity of our suppliers for our birthday” said Horne.
Music from the ‘80’s was blasted through the new office space, staff, clients and suppliers alike danced and sang
to their favourite tunes.
A silent auction was held on the night to raise money for Reho’s own charity – Rehope – which assists by giving
microloans to the people of Malawi to help them enrich their lives, the auction raised over $2,000.00.
The major door prize on the night was two tickets to Hong Kong, accommodation and a harbour cruise for two,
which the winner kindly donated back for Reho to auction off for its charity.
“Now we have grown up it is our aim to make a difference, whether it be in the great work environment we
create, the remarkable service we provide, the quality of people that choose to work with us, the responsibility
we take in environmental issues or the leadership we show in community initiatives.”
