SINGAPORE Airlines’ new low-cost offshoot Scoot yesterday unveiled its new uniforms, which were shown off around the streets of Singapore by three of Scoot’s “pioneering cabin crew”.
Describing the outfits as “radical, modern new threads,” a release from the airline said that the uniforms had been designed with practicality in mind, as well as “a unique uniform our crew would be proud to wear”.
The rollout of the uniforms is the latest step in the development of the carrier which plans to launch medium and long haul no-frills flights from mid-2012, with its first destination already announced as Sydney and fares to go on sale by Mar.
