Fledgling low cost carrier Scoot took ownership of its first aircraft in Singapore last weekend, a Boeing 777-200 aircraft bought from parent company, Singapore Airlines.
The aircraft will be joined by a second 777-200 on 30 Mar prior to entering heavy maintenance to have the interior refitted with Scoot’s seats, cabin product and livery (as per the model).
Scoot is planning to launch nonstop services from Singapore to Sydney and the Gold Coast later this year.
