SkyTeam had (for the very first time in Australia) a stand at a major travel show (Holidays & Travel Show – Melbourne). The response was overwhelming and the general public was very excited to find out more about SkyTeam. With six online carries currently flying to Australian ports (China Airlines, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta, Korean Air, Vietnam Airlines) and a further two more online carriers joining soon (Aerolineas Argentinas and Garuda Indonesia), SkyTeam is positioning itself as a serious contender to alliance hegemony that both oneworld and Star Alliance have had over the Australian market. |
