TEMPO Holidays has added six tours to its 2012 Latin America brochure including a new itinerary which combines some of its most popular packages.
The 9-day Tango to Samba – a combination of Taste of Buenos Aires, Discover Iguazu Falls and Taste of Rio de Janeiro – explores the best of Argentina and Brazil from $2093* per person twin share based on the Bronze package.
Highlights include a lively tango show in Buenos Aires, tours of both the Argentinean and Brazilian sides of Iguazu Falls and a private tour of Rio de Janeiro visiting Corcovado Mountain, Sugar Loaf Mountain and Copacabana beach. Tempo is offering a free photo book with every booking.
The new 21-day South American Experience explores Latin America’s most awe-inspiring scenery and cities including Machu Picchu, Lake Titicaca, Buenos Aires, Iguazu Falls and Rio de Janeiro from $4607* per person twin share based on the Bronze package.
Tempo has also introduced two 7-day Colombia tours, the Colombia Golden Triangle – a great introductory tour of the country’s main attractions from $1999* per person twin share; and the Ancient Culture of Colombia, which explores Bogota, the underground Salt Cathedral of Zipaquira and megalithic monuments in San Agustin from $1886* per person twin share.
“Latin America is a remarkable destination and this 60-page brochure covers the best of it,” Tempo Holidays product manager Gisel Pacheco said.
“Clients can take a scenic journey through the lakes and snow-capped volcanoes of the Argentinean Lake District, marvel at the thundering waters of Iguazu Falls, explore Patagonia’s majestic peaks and glaciers, get up close to sea lions in the Galapagos, discover the mighty Amazon and much more.
“Tempo offers a range of independent itineraries using high standard accommodation which are often significantly cheaper and more flexible than fully escorted group tours.”
Other new tours are the 3-day Taste of Belize, which includes accommodation in Belize City and a half day tour; and the comprehensive 19-day Flavours of Mexico, Guatemala and Belize, which visits grand colonial cities, ancient ruins, lively indigenous towns and blissful Caribbean beaches such as Playa del Carmen and Cancun.
Popular packages returning in 2012 include the 4-day Taste of Buenos Aires and Taste of Rio, and the 5-day Discover Cuzco and Machu Picchu.
Other brochure highlights include superbly located hotels in Copacabana and Ipanema Beach.
