Accor properties in Tropical North Queensland and South East Queensland recently hosted a travel agent famil with a difference. Agents set off in teams to film their own segments of the ‘Accor Getaways Show’ featuring Accor Hotels and their key and unique selling points. Each travel agent team was briefed over breakfast and then set off in their Europcar rental following their itinerary over the four day famil. After filming, the videos were edited and judged under categories including the Most Popular Presenter; Most Outstanding Getaways Segment , The Most Memorable Accor Getaways Moment, and Most Creative Getaways Segment.
More than 17 Accor properties were filmed and footage collected and edited will be used for training new recruits within Flight Centre. The hotels will also use the films for other educational purposes. To wrap up the famil, the Accor Getaways Red Carpet Golden Logies Event was held at Mercure Brisbane and Accor would like to thanks sponsors Europcar, De Bortoli Wines, Destination Sunshine Coast and Infinity Holidays.
