The world’s oldest entertainment travel agency is celebrating their new Preferred Partnership with Jetset Travelworld Group by sending one lucky travel agent to The 126th Championships, Wimbledon 2012.
The incentive based competition, which was wonderfully supported by Korean Air was won by Tina Pizzoni from Harvey World Travel, Roma Street Brisbane.
John Godwin, Keith Prowse managing director, said after accepting the prize Tina realised she was not able to attend and offered the prize back without requesting a transfer.
He said Keith Prowse, in conjunction with Cameron Brown marketing manager of Korean Air decided to allow Tina to offer the prize to her staff.
“Tina’s longstanding and devoted boss Tom Fischer was the lucky recipient of Tina’s kindness,” Mr Godwin said.
“Tom and his wife are now off to Wimbledon to enjoy two reserved seats for one day on Court Two, which has seen the likes of Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Serena Williams and John McEnroe.
“Mr and Mrs Fischer will also use the trip to visit their son who they have not visited in a number of years, since he moved to London.”
Mr Godwin said the incentive based competition was open to all travel agents who sold Keith Prowse sport and entertainment packages to clients.
“All agents who made a deposited booking for Sport and Entertainment packages with Keith Prowse from November 1, 2011 to April 30, 2012 went in the running,” he said.
“Ms Pizzoni won the Wimbledon trip after she made a purchased the Keith Prowse Hong Kong Seven’s tour for an avid Rugby client.”
Travel Agents had the opportunity to win return flights to London, flying Korean Air; two night accommodation at Earls Court, London; two reserved seats for one day of Wimbledon tennis on Court 2 on June 25, 2012; and overnight airport accommodation in Incheon.
