Travelport President and CEO, Gordon Wilson addressed the Flight Centre Taskforce and delivered a presentation to around 100 senior leaders at this week’s FCL Global Gathering in Cancun, Mexico, sharing insights into the changing travel landscape and gazing into the future with his predictions for 2020.
‘Rise of the Sun Warriors‘ was the theme of this year’s FCL conference and in addition to participating in executive sessions, Travelport organised a fun video competition – the Travelport Worm’s Den video challenge – which was won by Flight Centre Kingston (ACT) employee, Ellen Hodgson. The Travelport logo was also prominently displayed, with clever lighting off a neighbouring building.
Travelport is a major sponsor of the event and a long-term partner of Flight Centre. The two companies commenced working together more than 25 years ago and Travelport continues to be Flight Centre’s preferred GDS provider.
