United Airlines held its third annual trivia night in Melbourne last Wednesday, 18 July. Over 120 travel consultants were invited to test their knowledge on United Airlines, California, Las Vegas and San Francisco Airport as well as other subjects such as Pop Culture and US Geography. Visit California, Las Vegas and San Francisco Airport all supported the evening with presentations, questions and prizes. The competition was fierce, but in the end Emma Godfrey from STA Travel proved she knew more than most about the US and United Airlines and was rewarded with a fabulous trip for two to Las Vegas with United Airlines where she will be staying at the Cosmopolitan Hotel. She will also enjoy a complimentary helicopter trip with Maverick Helicopters. The runners-up did not go home empty handed but received some well deserved prizes compliments of a number of sponsors including the Handlery and Radisson Hotels. The Trivia night provided everyone with a fact and fun filled evening and the celebrations continued well after the quiz master has asked the last question. The next trivia night is planned for later in the year for travel consultants in Auckland.
