WENDY Wu Tours sales and marketing team recently took part in a charity event to raise awareness and donate hand-made toys to a Chinese Down Syndrome office which was founded by Ms Liu Yahui.
The group hand-built and painted a range of toys after consulting with fellow teams and adhering to their design particular guidelines. The toys were then presented to Ms Liu and her 13-year-old daughter Julia who was the inspiration for the organisation which is primarily a parent support group for those with Down Syndrome children in Guangzhou. Ms Liu said that she hoped events like this would raise the profile of the organisation and encourage local business to participate in ways that will help fund and grow the group so they can offer support to as many people as possible.
