Due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, in order to assist our customers, Air Mauritius will apply the following procedures for all MK/239 tickets issued prior 30 April 2020 for departures until 30 June 2020.

Rebooking in same RBD (booking class) will be allowed free of charge even if the fare rule for the particular fare concerned specifies “No Change” or “Change with Penalty”.

Passengers will be charged for any additional amount resulting from higher fare types, higher RBDs being booked, higher seasonality, rerouting / change of feeder / connecting airline.

Original tickets may be kept and reissued against new tickets once the passenger is ready to choose travel dates, provided ticket is reissued within 01 year of original ticket issue date . Penalties will be waived.

Passengers who have made reservations directly via Air Mauritius or Group Bookings managed by Air Mauritius ticket offices and who wish to postpone travel will be issued with an EMD for further transportation valid for 01 year from date of issuance.

All penalties for cancellation will be waived.

If new travel results in higher amount than EMD value, the additional amount will be charged. EMD to be issued prior to 30 June 2020.

Passengers who wish to be refunded will be charged at the relevant amount as per cancellation rules of fare shown on ticket.
