Response by Navgu to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
We understand this is a very trying time for the travel industry worldwide and Navgu Travel Publishing would like to extend our deepest sympathies to our subscribers who are undergoing severe financial hardship during these uncertain times.
As you would be aware, the Australian Government has instituted a ban on all Australians travelling overseas. As a result of this and previous DFAT advice against all travel overseas, we understand that our subscribers will be deriving little to no benefit from the Country Guides at this time.
As a gesture of solidarity with our travel agency customers across Australia, and in an attempt to support our subscribers in what little way we can, Navgu will be pausing all subscriptions from 13 March 2020. This pause will remain in effect until the Australian Government lifts its travel ban and the DFAT travel advice for most of the world returns to normal.
In practical terms, this means that if your office had ten months remaining on your subscription on 13 March, you will still have ten months remaining when normal trading conditions return.
During this time your access to Country Guides will remain unchanged. We will continue to update the Country Guides, although at less frequent intervals than we have previously. We will not seek to publish information about border closures as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak until the Australian Government lifts its travel ban.
We look forward to continuing our relationships with our partners in the future and to launching our new and feature packed website once Australia’s insatiable demand for travel thunders back later in the year.
Kind Regards,
Paul McInnes
