Uluru welcomes QF Flight to Somewhere
Wednesday | Dec 9 2020LAST weekend, Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia partnered with Qantas on its first ever “Scenic Flight Getaway — Uluu”. Around 120 guests were treated to a lively pre-flight event emceed by Jim Wilson from Radio 2GB. Entertainment was provided by Gumaroy Newman on the yidaki (didgeridoo) and the Pathfinders — a group of past and present Qantas staff who raise money for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children. This was followed by an auction, breakfast and a range of cocktails infused with wild foraged and local native botanicals to set the scene for the trip to the spiritual heart of Australia.
