Tourism Australia has just officially released the next version of its new “There’s Nothing Like Australia” advertising campaign, with the launch taking place in Shanghai, China – the first time a national promotion for Australia has been revealed offshore.
Broadcast, print and online advertising elements of the campaign have now been unveiled, along with a “world first” tablet App for Apple iPads and Android tablet devices.
Tourism Australia chairman Geoff Dixon said it was fitting that the campaign be launched in China, which is now Australia’s most valuable tourism market. However the marketing will also take place across the globe including traditional markets of the US, UK and Europe as well as for the first time ever as part of a domestic campaign within Australia.
