Travel Daily | LAN profit plummets

LAN Airline recorded a 74% drop in profit for the second quarter, down to US$15.9 million, with the result blamed on flight disruptions caused by the Chilean volcanic ash cloud, higher fuel costs and the price of starting up operations in Columbia.
