Malaysia Airlines lifts agent payments.
Malaysia Airlines has signalled an aggressive push for market share during the European earlybird season, with plans to pay a full 10% commission on all tickets issued by Australian travel agents in the next month.
Effective from Mon 17 Sep, all Malaysia Airlines fares and fuel surcharge (YQ) issued on 232 ticket stock on Australian BSP for travel commencing ex Australia will attract 10% commission.
The bonus is valid irrespective of departure dates, with the 10% payable for ticketing through to 15 Oct 2012.
Any ticket issued for travel originating outside Australia is commissionable at 6%, while tickets issued separately for domestic Malaysia or KUL to SIN/BWN is non-commissionable.
