NZ airports oppose VA/NZ

THE NZ Airports Association
has come out in strong
opposition to the unconditional
re-authorisation of the trans-
Tasman alliance between Air
NZ and Virgin Australia, with a
submission to the ACCC saying
that “the interests of the flying
public on both sides of the
Tasman are best promoted by
encouraging competition and
independent carriers.
