Melbourne-based travel tech firm links with global industry data provider.
Aeronology, the Peter Lacaze-backed technology firm headed by Russell Carstensen, has just announced its acceptance into the Bridge Labs Program offered by ATPCO.
ATPCO is the world’s major provider of data to GDS, airlines, travel agencies and technology companies, delivering fare and schedule data alongside rich content, RouteHappy flight information and its Next Generation Storefront (NGS).
“Aeronology now has access to Bridge Labs APIs that allow us to connect and explore the most complete set of worldwide air travel content,” Carstensen said.
The new Bridge Labs Program link with ATPCO means Aeronology is “plugged into the very best airfare distribution minds and applications in the world,” he added.
ATPCO’s Anne Kolodziej described Aeronology as a “unique player in the travel technology space, driven by the desire to provide efficiencies that enable travel advisors to give their clientele unmatched support”.
Carstensen said the link to ATPCO and its NGS would help fulfil the company’s aim of “helping the industry to increase revenue, to improve margins and ensure travel agents stay relevant”.
