The former Zenith Payments boss will steer Aeronology into its next chapter.
Peter Egglestone will take over from Russell Carstensen as chief executive officer for the Melbourne-based travel tech business.
The appointment marks Egglestone’s first major leadership role since departing Zenith Payments in April 2025, and he is tasked with scaling Aeronology’s commercial operations and strengthening customer outcomes.
Speaking about his new role, Egglestone said: “I am excited to lead Aeronology into this next phase.”
“Our world-class technology, our talented people, combined with a new customer focus, gives us a unique opportunity to drive meaningful value for airlines and travel agencies worldwide.”
Carstensen will stay on with the company for a transition period, and will remain a shareholder in the business.
