Industry representatives to shape the future of the industry awards night of nights.
The Australian Federation of Travel Agents has this morning unveiled a plan to appoint National Travel Industry Award (NTIA) Custodians, a group who will “shape and champion the awards”.
Nominations will be sought shortly for the roles, with the NTIA Custodian Council to comprise five representatives from five different segments: Retail Agency, Corporate, Online, Tour Operator/Wholesaler and Cruise/Air, each with an advisory role in the NTIA categories, questions and overall judging process.
AFTA CEO Dean Long said the move was recognition of the sector-wide support for the event, with the Federation “committed to ensuring NTIA continues to be the pre-eminent awards program”.
