Tempo and Bentours ATAS termination is effective immediately, with bookings not protected by AFTA Chargeback Scheme.
AFTA has just announced the cancellation of Tempo Holidays Pty Limited (ABN 510 073 31213) from the AFTA Travel Accreditation Scheme (ATAS).
The move applies to all trading and business names such as Bentours, and also means Tempo Holidays has been added to the Excluded Supplier List under the AFTA Chargeback Scheme, meaning ATAS agents participating in ACS are no longer protected against chargeback risk for any Tempo Holidays transactions that occur after 12.00pm today.
“The ACS Board has a duty to protect member funds, and as part of the risk management strategy may exclude or restrict suppliers from time to time,” AFTA said.
The full list of excluded suppliers is available at http://www.afta.com.au/atas/acs/excludedrestricted-suppliers.
