Mental wellbeing and resilience program to assist industry dealing with COVID-19 crisis.
The Australian Federation of Travel Agents has this morning unveiled a new mental health support program, in partnership with the Mind Body Brain Performance Institute.
AFTA is funding 1,000 free places in the program, each of which also comes with two guest passes so participants can share the Resilient Mind program with family and friends in the industry.
The program is a four week challenge blending resilience education with online tools, videos, workouts, a social feed and “habit forming daily rituals scientifically proven to help participants focus on what they can control and keep a positive mindset”.
To participate, agents can download and complete an online form with the names of their agency colleagues who can complete the challenge as a team. Teams can complete daily rituals to receive points and climb the leaderboard.
AFTA CEO Darren Rudd said the Resilient Mind program had been selected based on its scientific foundation and proven methods that deliver results. “Resilient Mind is a fun and proven way to boost your resilience and we look forward to doing just that together as we take on this four week challenge,” he said.
Registration opens today via a downloadable form at afta.com.au, with the program to run from Monday 7th September through to Sunday 4th October. Registrations can be emailed to jo@afta.com.au by next Wednesday 2nd September.
