Partial sell-down of Helloworld shares by UBS.
Helloworld Limited has just advised of an off-market transaction yesterday which saw UBS Australia sell 30.8 million Helloworld shares to Sintack Pty Ltd, a company owned by the Alysandratos family.
The $12 million purchase, comprising 7% of the company’s shares on issue, was at 39c per share, representing a 41% premium to the volume weighted average price for the five days on which HLO shares traded prior to 18 February 2015.
The partial sell-down reduces the UBS shareholding from 19.7% to 10.9%, while Sintack’s stake in the company has increased from 12.3% to 19.3%.
Sintack shareholders include Spyros and Irene Alysandatos, with the family’s other travel industry business interests including Consolidated Travel and a 50% stake in the Express Travel Group.
