New seasonal flights to operate effective October 2020.
American Airlines this morning announced two new non-stop routes between the USA and New Zealand, with the expansion said to be a “direct result of the recently approved joint business between American Airlines and Qantas”.
AA will fly from Los Angeles to Christchurch three times per week from October 2020 through to March 2021 using a Boeing 787-8, while the carrier will operate a Boeing 787-9 between Dallas-Fort Worth and Auckland over the same period, also thrice weekly.
Qantas has also confirmed it will add a seventh weekly flight between Sydney and Dallas-Fort Worth by mid-2020.
