Recruitment process to begin search for new leader after Lyn Lewis-Smith moves on.
The long-standing CEO of BESydney Lyn Lewis-Smith has announced she will exit the role from July next year.
She has been in the position for close to 13 years, and has presided over a strong recovery period for Sydney in recent times following the pandemic.
Speaking to VIP guests after the BESydney AGM in Sydney a short time ago, Lewis-Smith said from next year into the forward calendar, Sydney has accrued around $400 million worth of confirmed events.
No replacement has been named, with a recruitment process to kick off shortly.
