NDC-capable consolidation system debuts in Australia and New Zealand
Express Tickets has announced the launch of what it says is the first consolidator offering to combine both New Distribution Capability (NDC) functionality across GDS and direct connect content with major airline partners.
Travel agents using the platform can shop and book via their GDS of choice, as well as access curated direct-connect content from NDC-capable partner airlines such as the Qantas Distribution Platform and Singapore Airline’s KrisConnect program, giving seamless access to ancillary add-ons such as seat selection and extra baggage.
The new platform also features TravelCheck, a purpose-built facility allowing agents to instantly check the required documentation for multiple destinations as well as access current information on COVID-19 related requirements and procedures.
As well as being now available to all Express Travel Group and First Travel Group members in Australia and NZ, the new Express Tickets is also being offered to “any travel agents seeking commitment-free ticketing-only access”.
